Langham Pasadena is a place, if given the opportunity, you need to check into.
As we drove up the driveway to the Langham Pasadena, I couldn’t help but notice the beautiful and stunning landscape. Tall palm trees swaying with the slight breeze. Huge, gorgeous succulents lined the driveway. Bright pink, red and flowers surrounded the front entrance. Then as I entered the lobby there was a distinctive smell of fresh flowers, roses especially. An enormous crystal chandelier hanging above the most gorgeous floral arrangement I have ever seen.
Langham Pasadena, a historic hotel:
built in 1907 (it once was the Ritz Carlton) has so many stunning features. They offer tours of the hotel and its grounds and educate you on all of its fun and interesting facts. How cool is that?
One of my favorite things about this hotel was that there are so many little “hide out” places to enjoy. The hallways and common areas have many lounge areas which are great to escape to, to read a book, relax, or just get some quiet time.
Many of the rooms have spacious, private balconies. They also offer beautiful suites. An incredible place to have a wedding, which they do offer wedding services (as well as many other functions). A spa, outdoor pool, many restaurants and an exclusive club area with endless amenities. Most of the food we ate was buffet style, and it was delicious. Mostly gluten free, and a lot of choices for vegetarians. On my last day there, I ordered a salad before heading to the airport. It was so good and so fresh. I truly enjoyed it.
The grounds within the Langham Pasadena are unbelievable!
Babbling brooks, fountains, and sprawling greens with amazing views of the Hollywood Hills and city lights. You can easily get lost in all of the beauty. And get lost I did, many times. Strolling over a covered bridge, walking by a babbling brook or listening to the calming sound of the water fountain, the beauty is endless. Being from New England, I love palm trees, something we don’t have in the north east. There are many at the Langham.
The Langham Pasadena has more to offer than just its beauty!
The service is second to none!! Every single staff member which I encountered were, well amazing! There were so many staff members there to help. Going above and beyond for any request you might have. I often asked for help trying to find which ball room I was looking for. There was always someone there to walk me right to where I needed to be. Friendly, polite and always wanting to help. I truly can not say enough from about everyone that works there. They should be very proud in the service they provide.
The only downside of the Langham, is that eventually you will have to leave.
