Boo-tiful Popcorn Halloween Treat Kids Will Love
Making a delicious Halloween treat doesn’t need to be complicated. I have always loved Halloween (and still do). I decorate the house, make spooky crafts make yummy treats, and now, get excited to dress up the boys for trick or treating.
For the month of October, I will be sharing a few easy snacks to quickly prepare for a party or just a movie night.
Halloween Treat- Boo-tiful Popcorn
This recipe is so easy! I purchase a big bag of Kettle Corn Popcorn, any brand you like. My favorite is purchasing a few bags from local vendors at fall events.
You will also need Halloween colored M&Ms, melting chocolate in orange color, Halloween sprinkles.
First, I put down a sheet of wax paper. Lay the popcorn out onto the wax paper.
Then melt the chocolate melts as instructed on the package. I put the melted chocolate into a little sandwich bag, squeeze it into the corner of the bag and cut a tiny part of the tip off the bag. This will allow you to pipe the chocolate over the popcorn.
Once I’ve drizzled the amount of chocolate I want, I start adding the M&Ms. Then add a few sprinkles. Let that rest for about 10 minutes while the chocolate re-hardens.
Lastly, pick up the popcorn pieces and place them into the containers of your choice.
Simple, easy and only takes 15 minutes from start to finish. If you are anything like me, sometimes the thought of making treats with your kids can cause anxiety. This one is so simple you can enjoy it. A delicious Halloween treat the kids will surely love!
