Frittata Made Easy With The Ninja
Quick, healthy breakfast recipes are a must in our house. So I dared to make a frittata using my new Ninja Cooking System with Auto-iQ. Talk about simple! It was fast and easy and my boys even helped make it.
We used a dozen eggs, cheddar cheese, ham, green peppers, onions, broccoli and tomatoes.
First I scrambled the eggs in a bowl. Then added them into the greased (I sprayed with Pam) Ninja Cooking System. The boys and I threw in the ham, chopped peppers, onions, broccoli, tomatoes then cheese. So simple and they loved helping getting it all in the Ninja. Then one click of a button, we used the Auto-iQ feature and boom, it was cooked in 20 minutes.
This is what it looked like while it was cooking:
I used a plastic spatula to remove the frittata from the cooking surface. Cut it up into pieces and then served with toast.
The boys and I gobbled this right up. They even had seconds. I feel I can always get them to eat more when they are a part of the cooking process. However it takes a lot of patience having a 3 & 4 year old “help” out in the kitchen.
There are so many variations to this recipe. You can add more meats like bacon, pancetta, pepperoni or salami. Try all different kinds of cheeses. Different vegetables like spinach, asparagus, mushrooms, and cauliflower. The combinations are endless and you really can’t mess it up.
This is one more recipe I loved making with the Ninja Cooking System with Auto-iQ (see my previous one here: https://reallifemamadrama.com/ninja-easy-family-dinner/ ). I have made a couple more dinners as well that I will be sharing on the blog. Be sure to check back!
