Easy Chicken Recipes Even The Kids Will Enjoy

Recently I have had the pleasure of working with Perdue Farms. This was great for me because everyone in our house loves Perdue and all of their other brands. They sent us some yummy items to try.

This is a sponsored post. I have received compensation for this post. However, as always, my opinions, thoughts and ideas are MY OWN.

Perdue Farms is now offering direct buying of bundle boxes. We received a big box of food items, called the “Family Bundle” (their medium size), this is from their new direct-to-consumer boxes. This is a new service with Perdue Farms however, they are still providing the highest of quality foods that they have for the last 100 years. Being a fourth generation family owned business, they understand what is important in raising, feeding and caring for their animals. Which means you and I get amazing food delivered straight from their farm to our tables.

I will be sharing a few recipes from the products they sent. This post is a super simple, easy to make and delicious meal, even the kids will enjoy.

Chicken Margarita

You will need chicken tenderloins or breasts. Whatever your preference. Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, fresh basil, tomatoes, balsamic glaze and Italian dressing.

I heat up a frying pan and add about a half a cup of Italian dressing to the pan. Add the chicken and fully cook, flipping often to get golden brown.

After the chicken is fully cooked, I add the sliced tomatoes and basil, spreading over the chicken generously.

You can then add as much or as little fresh mozzarella over the top. The more you add, the creamier and delicious it will be. Of course I am a cheese lover, so that’s just my opinion.

Then place on a baking pan and place into the over on 350 degrees for approximately 15-20 minutes. The cheese will be melted and chicken and tomatoes will be hot. Final step, I add a balsamic glaze over the top of the chicken. Simple, quick and a perfect week night dinner idea.
