Amazing Opportunity & Growth For 2018

2018 has been an amazing year of opportunity for me!

Another year nearly finished.  I am not trying to rush it, believe me.  However, as I sit here and think about all of the great opportunities I have had this year because of this blog, I feel extremely grateful.  However,  none of this could have be done without all the support from all of you, my amazing followers!  It is weird how do don’t always recognize your own self accomplishments, but as 2018 ends that is exactly what I am doing.  And I have a ton to be grateful for!  I can see my hard work paying off.

1) Mother’s Day 2018 a book was released called Amazing Moms, Parenting In The 21st Century.

By authors Hogan Hilling and Dr. Elise Cohen Ho I was selected as one of the 115 moms from all across the globe to be featured in this book.  I’m still in awe of this!  Seriously me featured in a book, totally crazy!

A book featuring amazing moms. Parenting and motherhood

2) Attending my very first Mom 2.0 conference.

This conference is the conference you want to attend to be surrounded by amazing, inspiring, and kick ass women.  From the speakers, breakout sessions, and who you get to meet by sitting at lunch or walking the halls, this was a huge inspiration for me.  I have made connections and friendships with some amazing ladies.

3) Opportunity for traveling!

With family getaways to business opportunities, I was a part of some great hosted travel destinations.  Look forward to more.  Traveling and seeing new places is wonderful and it’s even better when I can share those places with you.

4) I worked with some really cool auto brands and auto events.

I was able to cover both the Providence, Rhode Island Auto Show as well as the New York auto show.  2018 led me to work with brands such as GMC, Mazda and Mitsubishi this year.  I even had an opportunity to attend a small, intimate media event held by GMC in Saratoga Springs, NY.  Because I have teamed up with some other amazing ladies,  have been invited to attend an event in Palm Springs in November.  These events have been amazing and I am a very blessed girl!

5. Opportunity for giving back and paying it forward,

Is always at the top of my list of things to do.  Last Christmas I was able to help a family in need and plan to do the same this year.  Also, teaching my boys all about random acts of kindness, big or small, certainly has been a big goal of mine.  Teaching them simple things like holding doors for others, always saying please and thank you.  Being kind to others and the importance of always trying your best.

6. Opportunities to attend some really fun events.

Attending a private screening of Hotel Transylvania 3 in the actual Sony headquarters in NYC before the movie was released.  I loved that!  Also going to the Toy Fair, HoliDAY of Play and TTPM spring event.  Checking out all of the latest and greatest in the toy industry.  I love that I was invited to check out the fall line from Carter’s and OshKosh B’gosh, was a thrill.  Especially when you have little ones that wear a ton of their clothing.

7.  This year has also brought new opportunities for contributing to other websites.

You can find my pieces on Trivago Magazine, Today’s Parenting Community Contributor  and  A Girls Guide To Cars Website,  because of that, I am proud!

8. Above all, I am grateful for my happy, healthy family.

Being with them, traveling with them, and being able to be a stay at home mom and not miss anything with them.  Although, this is the most difficult job I have ever had, it is of course, the most important one.

My vision board keeps growing and growing and because of that, my mindset has changed and grown too.  I feel the opportunities are out there, and why not me!  I am going to keep working hard and make things happen.  Manifest amazing things for myself and others.  Helping others as much as I can achieve their goals, will certainly help us all, because together we are better!

Here’s to making 2019 even more AMAZING!
