7 Reasons Why Disney Is Amazing For Children Under 8

Disney will always hold a special place in our hearts.  We have been fortunate enough to have visited Disney a few time in the last couple of years.  Our boys are now 3, 4, and 15.  Our first trip since having our LAST baby, we celebrated our little guys first birthday, which was two years ago, and we keep going back.  One question I always seem to get is…  “Why go now?   Why wouldn’t you want to wait until they are older and will remember?”

Here Are My 7 Reasons Why:

Families With Little Ones, Disney Has You Covered.

They offer Baby Care Centers.  These areas are fully equipped with everything a little one would need.  A place to change a baby.  A quiet place for a nap.  A kitchen that includes a microwave, and oven to heat up any food or formula, and also a sink.  Private nursing areas with comfortable rocking chairs.  A main area, great to take a break from the hustle and bustle.  In there you will find a sofa, chairs, tables, and television.    If you forgot something your little one might need, like formula, diapers, wipes, food, or sunscreen you will be able to purchase right there on site.  These areas are so comfortable and wonderfully decorated, therefore, making your time spent there very comfortable.

There Are Countless Interactive Shows For The Little Ones To Sing, Dance, and Be In Awe Of.

Some of  the few my boys loved were, Disney Junior Live On Stage, Kilimanjaro Safari (in Animal    Kingdom, I recommend using a Disney Fast Pass+ for this) and the Little Mermaid Show.

Disney Has Many Rides The Entire Family Can Enjoy Together.

Riding with your little one, you can enjoy rides like the Dumbo The Flying Elephant, Many Adventures of Winnie The Poo Ride, It’s A Small World and so many more.  Do not think for one minute there will not be enough to do because your little ones are so young, because you would be missing out on a ton of fun things!

While Staying At Any Of The Disney Resorts You and Your Little Ones Can Enjoy Pool Parties.

Each resort will host daily pool parties.  Each party will have guest appearances from all of your little ones favorite Disney Junior characters.  You’ll sing and dance pool side with favorites like, Mickey, Sofia, Jake, Doc McStuffins and more.  So grab that bathing suit and towel and enjoy the fun!

All Ages Love To Explore Main Street and The Boardwalk.

You will find souvenirs, magical balloons, amazing snacks, sights, sounds, and mouthwatering smells everywhere to keep you and your little ones entertained.  There are also the famous parades and firework displays.

Character Meet & Greet and Pictures To Last A Lifetime.

I will say some photo opportunities are more difficult than others.  The place, time and character you are waiting for will all depend on your wait time.  I recommend getting to the parks early or staying late to get your best options.  Also using a Fast Pass+ selection, way in advance, is a good way to be sure you get to meet all of your favorites!

You Will Remember!

You will remember their smiles, their excitement, and the pure joy they felt.  These are precious family moments that you will always remember!

There is no magic age to visit Disney.  Every age is the perfect age, so don’t wait, just book it!
